Visiting from NYC and I've gotta say that I've never seen a place like this. Ever. What a concept. There was only a 30 minute wait on a Friday night so we sat at the bar until the table was ready. Only complaint there was they had no Captain Morgan. Seriously...No Captain. How could they? Lol I settled for SoCo, though, no problem. Once we got to our seats and our waiter explained how it worked, I was hooked. $21 for all you can eat, you don't find that in many places with these kinds of food options. One piece of advice, though. They should put up signs or menus documenting some of the popular food combinations. People may throw things together that just don't match and may suffer because of it. Me, I went simple. Beef tips with vegetables, rice noodles, and hoisin ginger sauce. Threw some Tagorashi seasoning on it and wasn't aware that it was a very hot Japanese spice mixture. I couldn't finish it (the sauce had quite a kick by itself), but it was damn delicious when I went up for my 2nd dish (chicken this time, much better lol). Overall, fantastic. I wish they had a place like this in NYC, it would do very well there. I just wish they had suggested some combinations to us and not just say "Have at it, folks!". Will definitely return here on my next trip up here.

Fire and Ice has always been our favorite place to go in Boston when we’re in town. We’ve had good experiences and people who work there have given us great service and care. The food is always great and prepared with precision and care. The chefs are experienced and sometimes talented with tricks. I love the ala cart style of building your own meal, and then watching it be cooked. Burgers are my go to and I haven’t been disappointed yet.

We're refugees from the now-closed Providence Fire+Ice. My 8 year-old son has been going there with me since he was a year old, and we were both dying to get to the Boston location. It was about a 5-minute walk from the Arlington stop on the Green line. The restaurant is very well laid out, and the food was just as great as I remember, and both our server and the guys on the grill were right on the ball. Next time we're up in Boston, we'll definitely be back.
